My first mod EVER was for RA2, all it did was make all units and buildings cost $1. hehe, everyone has to start somewhere.

gentlemen i had no intentions of cheating on zero hour at all i jsut learn't basics on modding and i just wanted to see how to get the online portion of it

b) amazing! you've found out that tapping the Caps-Lock key disables it!

c) As previous posts already stipulated, any modifications made will NOT work unless all parties in the game are running the exact same files

Doesn't Generals perform an MD5 on the contents of the BIGS and share it with the other clients?

well guys by putting the file inizh.big file in the data\ini folder do you awnestly think it will owrk online and i'
m not using it for cheating i'm just testing cause me and my buddy are making a map

Don't mess with INI.big or any of the other standard installation files, save for the script files. Any file you make or edit will simply override the original if it's put in the right place. So don't put INI.BIG or whatever in Data/INI, but put the INI files you edited in there. Remember that some files go in other folders, such as Data/INI/Object.

You can reduce costs for the map in the maps ini file, if that is your objective. If not, do what ImmoMan said and give your friend the files.
