Ok, major tips here buddy, use them wisely:
1 on't type in all caps, ever.
2:Calm down a bit in your posts.
3:To get things to work, put the .ini files into your Generals or Zero Hour Data->INI folder, make one if you don't have one.
And oh yeah, welcome to the forums.

"Reduce the build time and cost" If that doesn't make you have an advantage over others, I don't know what does.
The problem is, you can only play online if the two players have exactly the same ini's, as Hostile already said.

That's the first thing I tried when I figured out how to mod. I made the mirage tank have unlimited armor and tried to play. I thought I was the first person to ever mod the game, and I'd have an incredible ability to win everything with new units, lol.

Why ban him, he isn't doing anything wrong YET. He's just trying to figure out the basics of modding. And as quite a few of you will remember the difference between modding and cheating isn't that great. Cheating is done by giving one player, side or unit an advantage, while modding is done with balancing in mind. If you think about it, that's the only difference between the two.
So if you're going to ban him for trying, you should ban Accele and me too, 'cause that's how both of us started...

Well, if you cheat by modding, and the opponent picks the same side as you, your not gonna really be cheating, but what i've seen people do is take useless units that most people never expect anything bad to happen with and mod the crud out of them .

Banning is a bit drastic, we just say "Good boys don't cheat" and hope he'll get the ridiculous idea out of his mind
