Can you add bushes and tree's into youre W3D Model
Can you add bushes and tree's into youre W3D Model?
Or isn't this possible, or do u have to make a bone (like a spawnpiont for a soldier or vehicle. And if it can be so how can u let them stand on an object

things like that arn't part of the model, they're done with the map
Simple really... make (or modify) the map with a building, but with some bushes or trees that can be ran over
However, if you want deformable structures that have said objects "built-in" to them, you can't sorry
Besides, trees and bushes have no effect on the physics of the game, hence why you can disable them to rapidly increase frame-rate
But if you just want a simple tree, just import the W3D of the tree into your model of the building and paste it
but you wont be able to destory it, however...
unless you remove it as part of the conditonstate = reallydamaged or something

In 3DS Max 6, theres a tool that places trees, i never thought someone would need it for something besides a scene, until now  .

Are you after static trees? Or trees as part of the Generals game engine?
The former just being like a picture of a tree
the latter being a tree that can be ran-over, sways in the wind, and set-aligt or falls over etc...
If its just a static tree, just make a simple one out of a few polygons, but I'm afaid you can place "object" trees with a building, (again... AFAIK!!)
