Default Locomotor and other problems

Hello,

I have a quite complex question!

We (Rise of the Reds modding staff) want to make our primary supply gatherer to be a building! We've created a model with a crane at the center! The crane is supposed to be the gatherer!

I tried several ideas to get it working, but none of them did work.
But then an idea crossed my mind: I splitted the Supplycenter int wo w3d files. The building itself and the CraneArm. I thought, maybe I can force the crane arm to go round in circles by modifiing the locomotor in the right way.

My question now is: Can I force a unit to go round in circles?? How must the locomotor look like??

For better understanding:


Can anybody help??

Well if it's a building then a locomotor won't get you far.

Just try to make an animation out of it, like the Chinook's net sort of.

I've coded the crane in as a unit and it is moving and gathering. It just doesn't go in circles, it's moves are unpredictable!!
