Default how to make windows glow?

hi all ! well I dont know how to really do this. If any of you could explain me the steps, try to explain step by step as Im not to familiar with Gmax.

You need to give the object a material, then apply a Glow to it, or maybe there is a glow material.......I'm not sure, I haven't used Gmax for a while.

yes I knew that but I need how to do it step by step and see wich are the textures that I need (for glow).

Sorry, can't help you with that, download that little free trial of 3ds max, its easier to learn with.

I beleive you are speaking of making Night time objects with GMax right?
And of course you tried putting the graphic files that are called for in the W3D View program distributed by Westwood and of course you soon found out that GMax gives you problems with puting an image on-top of another (which of course is what the W3D modelers did when they made the game)
So what I am saying is that you simply can't really make night objects with GMax.
But Say what exactly you are trying to do and there might be hope for you after all.
