i think it's a better idea too firstly make a complete list of all the bugs and not spread all the bugs over several posts since you made the first post you could edit your post and make the full bug list of that and edit it when needed

You also have to remeber that simply reading through the INIs does not always tell the complete story. Some of the 'bugs' that people complain about are actually intentional design elements;-

- Units under the effect of Subliminal Messaging not being affected by Emergency Repair is intentional, as it has always been a design element to prevent players 'stacking' healing abilities as it could provide them with virtually indestructable units

- Gattling Tanks doing SMALL_ARMS damage to aircraft was intentional - it was done before release to balance aircraft vs AA.

On the first Generals forum (the one from EAP) Harvard once commented on the subliminal messaging / emergency repair thing. He called it a 'side effect' of the no stacking repair rule. That's why I still see it as a bug. If it was intentional he could have just said so.

Gattling tank doing small arms damage vs aircraft for balance reasons makes no sense. The airplane armor is 120% against both small arm and gattling. Same goes for countermeasure armor being 75% for both.

True, but still it's one of many simple things that's messed up in this game.

EDIT: like these:

- When you load a chinook with rangers ,use the combat drop and then as soon as the ropes come out press the rangers portrets in the commandbar as if you would unload them one by one they will either fall down or keep hovering in the air. If they're hovering and you give them an order they'll fall down anyway.

- As GLA it's possible to have troops exit out of a 0% ready tunnel.

The tunnel would probably be an easy fix, depending on how it works to get units out. I've never noticed this. The only big bug I've ever found was one in RA2 with the chronosphere.

IMO thats another bug - why would countermeasures render an airplane less vulnerable to gunfire. Missiles I can understand, but surely not bullets?

I think it would depend on how the gun is aimed. If it was radar guided, the countermeasures would render the guns somewhat less effective. If the gun were optically guided, it would have no effect. Most AA weapons are radar guided, and their manual firing modes are nowhere near as accurate.

i agree on that fact but a damage change of 120% too 75% is realy a lot i think it should be 95% or something other wise they gain too much extra armor imo
