Yes that is what is so strange: I had one near the .exe file AND one in the data/ini/ directory

Location one => C:\games\EA GAMES\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\INIZH.BIG (near the .exe file)
Location two => C:\games\EA GAMES\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Data\INI\INIZH.BIG

And to make things clear: I did'nt put it there myself. The Install of the game does it!

Is it supose to do that???

ofcourse NOT, all BIG files r supose be near of .exe, and cnc generals and cnc zero hour,.BIG files stays there, no .BIGfile stay inside any folder..., all stay on rootfolder (near of .exe), so you can delete that INIZH.BIG ninside of ur data fodler, it's useless there

well, I think was, you might had mvoed the INIZH to data folder, then when uninstalling/reinstalling the game, the datafodler stayed there, because had a file wich the CNC wouldn't remove since wasn't "he" who installed it, so when u resinatlled/installed game again, the file was stil there..., and keep there til now

but if all working now, is all matters

any time i be able help, just ask

PS: i'm quite 'noob' on modding , but got my 300MB MOD praticaly done with 1 new generals per faction

Mine are in

C:/Games/Generals
C:/Games/Generals Zero Hour

and I have no problems, so that's no excuse.

It doesn't matter where you install the game, and please people, try to not type in "txt". And the reason it's put in *the INIZH.big* is because the things in the Data->INI over ride everything else.

You guys are not understanding what i'm saying,its not supposed to go where he said the install put it.

When I install ZH the program unpacks the big files like musicZH,SpeechZH,W3DZH,...
into C:\games\EA GAMES\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\

That's where you're supposed to put them.
