Default Random Explosions?

Is it possible to have different explosions for one unit?

I would like to have a set of about 4 explosions assigned to ,lets say...to the battlemaster tanks so when they explode,their explosions won't look the same.

That way,BMT's can blow up 4 different ways.

Right now i'm finishing up on different missile explosions and then i will give each tank in the game their own death explosion, which i can do but i would prefer to give each unit thier own set of death explosions.

More realistic that way

Each one is a slow death behavior. You can make say five and they will randomly choose which to use. Probability modifer will adjust how frequently each happens...

Hostile is right. However, I should mention that the paramater "DeathTypes =" restricts explosion a group of specific death types. This death type is determined by the attacking weapons.

As in the example of Hostile, non of these explosions are used when your tank is crushed by an overlord.

Also do not forget the "ProbabilityModifier =". If you don't adjust their values well, you never see one of your explosion types.

That was'nt what i had in mind but now i know i can change those.

What i was thinking about was to have explosion effects simular to the missile and nuke explosions,which are tide to the particle system rather than the animations like the turrets blowing off.

Like the the explosion that you get from the artillery platform shell,it has a nice smoke and flame effect that i can resize and use on an exploding tank or another object.

I want to be able to randomize that...randomize the particle effect so for an example,everytime the artillery platform shell hits something,it would be a different explosion.

Well you could look at the GenericTank damage fx and see if there is something there that can help. That is what makes the sparks when machine guns hit you, and explosions when rockets hit you.

I'm not sure if that can be randomized from the attackers point of view though.
