Has anyone got the tribute to westwood intro video, the one that replaces the ea games logo.

tis Easy. Extract the movie using XCC Mixer, then Bink and Smack it, then place it in your Gen directory as EA_Logo. And itll play next time you start up.

I'd forgive Westwood's selling out if Generals was a better game. It was ok, but it was no C&C, imo.

Westwood didn't sell out. They were bought and dissolved by EA. I don't think that really is selling out.

Westwood Studios may be gone, but true C&C will live on as long as the community keeps it alive. But enough of this, we shouldn't be talking about this here. I think the Tribute file is over at RenegadeGenerals, don't ask me for the site adress because I can't remember.

I heard somewhere that IF another C&C is made, some of the people from Westwood would be helping make it.

Ofcourse... you see that wil happen no matter what.

For C&C 3, one of the 2 things will happen.

1) EALA will make it. People from Westwood are still there... those that haven't been layed off by EA.
2) EA will give license to Petroglyph. That company is made out of all the employees tthat EA layed off.

Either way, you CANNOT take Westwood out of the picture. They are still there, even though it's not Westwood anymore.

There is really only one option. EALA will make it. I don't think they would license such a profitable franchise. I wish people would stop complaining about Westwood being gone. It was just a game studio. Many of the same people work at EA, and they continue to make quality games. If you don't like it, don't buy it, it's as simple as that.

They got sold out by EA cuz E:BFD wasn't as big of a hit has it was thort to be, they lost a lot from it and by the time i got my copy it was way to late. anyway even if the guys from westwood are at EALA it's not like they had a say in anything as you can see from how genrals was made. If they do make another CnC then they wouls have to give it the old tool bar back and scrap the shity dozer shit Plus put radar and ore back ingame. it's the only way and thats only a start. BTW mm it was more than a "game studio" it was the king of any RTS game made it keepet me ocupied for at lest 40% of my life time (no joke thats the truth) and now i can only relay on modding in order to have a thrill like that but still nothing can compet. I HERE BY MAKE A 1 MIN SILENCE RIGHT NOW IN HORNOR OF THE JOY THEY GAVE ME.....................

see what happend when you guys get me started about westwood. i just can't stop i mean they were like the only thing i played, wait come to think of it CnC was all i did play. untill this so called EA wanner be CnC geranls came out and coned the lot of us for our money by using that name. *crys*
