Did you include an alpha layer in your tga?

If you are using photoshop 7.0 you will need the fixed targa plugin which you can get at this page http://www.adobe.com/support/downloa...jsp?ftpID=1544

Direct file link http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/.../7.x/targa.zip

the teamcolor is supposed to be red in the textures.

To create a new channel, goto channels(windows--->channel) and then click the "new channel" button

Here's a little visual aid. The top left is the alpha layer of one of my skins. The bottom left is the visual part of the skin. If you see on the top there are black patches more or less in the same part as the red areas. The game requires you to have both red on the visual part & black on the alpha part to assign housecolors to infantry.

Does that help any?

sorry, but it doesn't. Does creating your own alpha layer (instead of using the one already with the skin) affects this? If it doesn't please tell me what's causing this. Thanks

only have one alpha channel.delete the one you dont want

Also, the textures name must have the zhca_ prefix.

what happens if you paint black patches on the alpha where the color isn't red in the visual layer?
