Know this can be done, just don't know how to, can anyone help?
And yes, I HAVE searched this but frankly the forum's search feature is rubbish, be to specific and it searches each individual occurance of each word, be too vague and you just don't get what you want.
in gamedata.ini change
UnlookPersistDuration = 5000
into something high like
UnlookPersistDuration = 999999999999999999999999999999999999
then it will take 3 years or so that the fog will come back
and i think that ya need it for the first tiberian war so you should change
FogAlpha = 127
into
FogAlpha = 0
Don't set FogAlpha to 0, as it will have some strange side effects (do it and see). ReGeneration uses a different (and easier) tactic, which also involves the UnlookPersistDuration trick. Open multiplayer.ini, and set UseShroud to Yes. That's it.
