Default possible to immune to shockwave?

I`v add a lot of shockwave effects to weapons.Max up mass can make a unit stick to ground when shockwave comes, but it still shakes, what s worst is too see units half under ground after the wave(looks so odd)...
is it possible to make a unit immune to shockwave? just like buildings

well you can make them realy heavy so that they are not affected by the shockwave :\

Exactly. Just give it Mass = 999999 and it won't go anywhere.

It probably does, as the shockwave was introduced in ZH while mass was already in Gen. I have no idea what it does though. I think it affects little things like recoil and stuff.

I would assume it does, like the height of the the techical when it comes off inclines. Not the only factor but heavier mass causes it to jump less.

Making a moon buggy. Low mass high bounce.

The mass of a unit effects how high it flys when it gets blown up (i've done some testing with this... give a ranger a mass of 1 hit with SupW_AmericaJetAurora's bomb and see him fly and never return - anywhere on the map LOL)
As for the shockwave, I beleive it is possible to just have the effect without actually having a shockwave (ie- pretty waves but nothing else) I think you have to do this through the FXList.ini file... I think one of the developer guys actually did that but they changed it or something)

Thanks for your time guys,it seens i didn`t make myself clear...

I gave some weapons shockwave coz i would like to see the jumpping effect (firebase VS. humvee),but even a weapon with ShockWaveAmount=0.001 will make a mass=9999999 tank shake(not jump,it will not leave the ground) & after the shake, that tank will not return to what it should be looked like(always with half the body underground, just like a sinking ship),what i want to do is not only make it stick to the ground, but also make it don`t shake at all... just like flying aircrafts

Mass in ZH seens only affect the shockwave effect ,i gave overlord mass=9000000&nothing strange happened, when it fire, the recoil is still 15`
recoils are set in weapon alone
maybe shockwave was part of the generals project b4 it`s cut..like the POW system

to The_Hunter: give overlord 9999999 mass & lots of hp,use a crusader with shockwaveAmount=0.0001 to hit it,make sure the overlord s not moving, after a few second, order the crusader to stop(b4 overlord dies),u`ll see what i mean....overlord seens digging into the ground(that s not "not affected by the shockwave")

& what s that C&C Generals ZH : ShockWave project? something like what i had done?thinking the same thing..&watch out for those falling damage

Mass also influences the slowdeath behavior of airplanes...

Basically it affects all mechanics. If you know a bit of physics you know what I mean. It affects how things are affected by forces in general. That means any kind of friction, explosion, shockwaves, etc. So things with lots of mass decelerate a lot slower when they hit the ground than really light things. So a heavy plane would slide on further before it stops. Compare a brick to a feather when they slide over the ground.
