I would do that as well, however without fixing the UVmapping, you will still see the edges on each rectangle.

ok i fixed the uvmaps on the barrel and some other small issues here are some pics

what do you need help with? i dont know how to code, i dont know how to model, ummmmm i cant really do to much, i can write the story tho , if somebody gave me the modeling tools and i could try to learn a basicness, and prolly pick it up pretty quick, cuz i can pick stuff up pretty good... lol :S
