How could I allow the USA Construction Dozer have the ability to repair vehicles in the same way it repairs structures?

There's gotta be a way to do this. And if there isn't... damn EA.

You could always copy the Ambulance's AutoHealBehavior module and give it to the USA Dozer. That wouldn't be very realistic, but probably more so than having an ambulance heal vehicles.

Well the Ambulance heals infantry in a radius, rather than going up to a unit and healing it like the dozer heals structures.

I'm thinking about making it a work like a weapon that can only affect allied vehicles-- is this possible?

I'm pretty sure that you can make a weapon with HEALING damage affect only allies. The problem is making the cursor respond only to allied units.

then use the obsolete repair drone for instance or take a look @ the machinegun / repairdrone

There is a unit that was nixed and it did what you want... look in the files of Zero hour and you'll find a drone that does that (or at least it was suppose to)... I'm not sure if the coding is correct though.
