Default So ok heres a very technical Question :)

HI yall i was just wondering.. would it be possible 2 decompile and expand the game engine? and what type of language is it written in? it should be possible i guess but im not that good at programming .. some friends of mine can. So could anybody give me (us ,the community) some info becuz im guessing that im not the only one who thought about this subject :scared:

At the momment, i belive altering that is illegal, one the SAGE engine is open source, then u can do that.

SAGE will never be open source. It is not only illegal, but very difficult to impossible to decompile. EA has a policy against releasing source code.

Yes.

EA Will NEVER_EVER release the source for SAGE. EVER.

You can decompile and recompile it, but chances are you get gibberish.

I'm almost positive it is. EA does not release source code. You would expect games like the original C&C to be open source by now, wouldn't you?
