It's not as simple as that. In order for a button to work correctly and pull up another menu or do an action that button must have a tag which links itself to the game engine which in turn tells the menu to appear. This tag is the Name="somename.wnd:subcatagory" which are hardcoded into the game engine. So for instance, since there is no GeneralsExpPoints.wnd:GameOptions tag in existance, there is no way to bring up the options menu from within the generals experience menu.

I give you the source files, the binary, instructions, a read me and a detailed post on how to make some kind of use of it, and yet you can say that? You make me feel as though I shouldnt really bother at all...

If what you mean is 'DZ isnt actually doing it for us this time' then yes, youre right, but I take exception to statements that imply that Im not actually helping because thats why this site exists, hence the tutorials, the encyclopedia, the provision of forums etc etc etc :tard:

Somebody else can release their mod first this time, and spare me the agonising process of being acused of supporting, encouraging and promoting poorer quality mods and of course they can have their work scrutinised for ideas, and have elements of that work stolen - but not me this time, been there done all that. Figure something out yourself for a change.

HE doesnt speak for us all btw. Your hte most helpful modder i know btw, most modder dont even post often in their forums, let alone tell people how to do stuff and even give them the means to create something in their mod which is in a deezire mod.

Well ive been in the C&C community for a loooooooooooong time started editing whem c&c got out. When i am asking things in this forum i get painted off as a 'NOOB' ,my post gets deleted etc .Im am sick of this no offence to you DZ but i know you know a lot of shit about editing generals and im am just asking you please share your knowledge a bit more, i know youve done a lot in this community so dont take this as an insult or something the only thing i would like to change in the cnc editing community is that 'Noob' thing just asking for more help....

and for the rest of im sick of seeing people kissing your ass all the time if you know what i mean
