Default Tips On Modeling.

Heh, I'm just a little board so I wrote this. These are tips to beginner Modelers.

My tips on modeling:

1. Have a reference image or model for modeling. (if your gifted, somewhat like me, you can imagine and construct an image in your head and not use a reference point to model.)

2. Know the program. (Gmax and RenX is easier than many think it is. It's right click interface makes the program extremely simple to older programs)

3. Be Ready. (Modeling can be very time-consuming depending on how much you want to polish and clean up your model or outright redo the model from scratch. My longest model took 13 hours because of coding, animation, modeling, and bone problems so it took a long time but a model could be made in 10 minutes depending on how detailed it is.)

4. Know your disadvantage and try to fix it. (My disadvantage is making detailed curved edges and other curves. But I excell at straight edges.)

5. Don't be intimidated (When I first started modeling, I was intimidated and unsure of the program, but when you understand the tools and interface it all becomes second nature and everything comes naturally.)

I hope this helps. No flaming or stuff for this because I want to help.

Take on more simple shapes at first. Once you have more experience move onto more and more complicated shapes.
