Default The good old water is here !!!!

Hi guys for those of you who know me ... I'm Sir-Maddoc ....
well yesterday I see a topic at our thundermods forum which was called "Generals und das Wasser" here you can see some pics out of the topic ...
ZH:

Generals:

Like you see its the water from the Alpha Version of Generals.
The only thing you have to do is to change "WaterType = 0" to "WaterType = 2" ... its in GameData.ini

But you see the problem, the height. So far I couldnt figure out how to get it right but perhaps some good moders here have an idea

You should thank Ingoneur who found it out

Yeah i do this long time ago but the videocard must support it cuz when i tjeck on the GF 2 and GF4 you dont see it and when i goto the GF6 and higher than ATI 9200 Series you will see it ''thats one reason that EA cutted it out'' BTW check LOTR:BFME its had the same code but better than the Generals water but its nice Maddoc

the water looks more realistic, but to bad for that bug. Hope someone will know how to fix it.

hmm, uhh, you messed up the defualt water height on the maps, thats the only thing i can think of, try looking in the code somewhere to find the problem
and nice water,

cool trick
if you make you map, you can make certain areas of water lighter/draker by adding water over water, its a nice effect

nope, your new mapping, so lemme sexplain something, water is made by creating water polygons on the wb, that is why your water ends like that, additionally after you make the polygon you can determine the height and name the polygon by clicking on it, now to make the polygon bigger, click on one of the vertices and drag it, if u need some more help hit me up by sending me an email at candctm@yahoo.com and i really like your water, you fixed it up more
