Editing the Game Intro

On my crappy PC Generals has no intro on the main menu, meaning its just an image of hummers etc... which is awsome.

On my good PC Generals has a video running, in the menu screen, which is very bad for my graphics and slows things down.

I have no idea why one PC has the video and the other doesn't, but I'm wondering, is there any way I can get rid of the video on my good PC and just keep the static image????

-quickstart
put that in the shortcut 'target' line.

I checked the Target line in the one with the static image, and I don't see quickstart. Are u sure this does anything?

The slow one has the quickstart automaticly, or the game wouldn't start up at all.

DO I put "-quickstart" at the end of the target line, or the beginning, or middle???

mine is

one easy way is to throw away the movies from the movies directory
images will take there places

another way is to make a batfile for example generals.bat

make a textfile and in the generals directory
put the followingline in

generals.exe -quickstart

save it as generals.bat

and presto no more intro,logo or shellmap
