Hot flanges, how the hell have you managed to get it up to 463mb ( assuming zipped ) ? That's a lot of models, texts and sound ...

Ill look through my mod...

INI:167 files, 53 folders, 7.33 MB (i sorted my mods sides into different folders, then put infantry & vehicle, etc folders in that.

Audio:182 files, 2 folders, 244 MB (2:29:15 is how long all my mp3 files for the game play, or the music & theyres 41 audio tracks)

English:145 files, 3 folders, 314 MB (About 96 pictures in the English/Art/Textures folder)

scripts:3 files, 0 folders, 800 KB (The normal scripts)

-ART-
Textures:103 files, 0 folders, 21.2 MB

W3D:119 files, 0 folders, 6.40 MB

-TOTALS-
Aki Warfare Modification:719 files, 66 folders, 601 MB
Data:497 files, 62 folders, 573 MB
Art:222 files, 0 folders, 27.6 MB

Theres mod specs, it could definatley be smaller cause this is the unzipped, un .bigged, work, and plus this isnt the v0.1 release its what I have done now after the v0.1 release...

a) Take the music out and put that in a separate BIG file

b) Compress *everything* with WinRAR... you'd be surprised how much you can compress the TGA images

c) Upload to FilePlanet

d) Profit!

I was looking thru the files for you mod and found one file called Japanese.mp3, its 46 minutes long and is 42.5MB. Do you really need this track? . if you really think its an important part of your mod then I must suggest that you reconvert it as a lower bitrate and sample rate or just cut its length down, cus i can't really see any reason for having a 46 minute track. Most games don't even last that long. See if you can get it down to say 10MB. this would save a lot of space. Actually i would resave all of them at a lower bitrate and sample rate. also SaySit.wav, is 4.5 minutes and 44MB. SaySit.wav you may want to move to the Track folder and convert to .mp3
a nice choice of music I must also say tho.

Yeah originally that was going to be a track that was going to be played by the night clubs (japanese/chinese ones) but I didn't have a converter to convert it with, so it never got put in

Ok i have compiled a new Aki.big file, and i am going to test it , this is actualyl a good thing because it is the CURRENT WHAT I HAVE DONE!!! Aki War Mod (War Factory Still Not Buildable, but if you open my mod up in WB you can see a building called NekoWarFactory or NekoArmsDealer & for upgrades a NekoBattleLab)
It does have more current textures & two upgrades, as well as a few fixed tooltips
(Sory for double posting)

Ok sorry for triple posting, but the mod works fine, but I only lowered it to 441 MB, it appears I had ALL of the movies from ZH challenge (61 MB), so I removed them, I'll see how much of a difference this makes

EDIT:Oh yeah you can edit stuff I frogot about that...
And btw now it went from 441 MB to 198 MB!
EDIT:I am sending it to you now Pestilence, it should be there in the FTP thing in about 30 mins
