Default Alpha Rocket Buggy Effect

ok some of you people might have seen the old rocket buggy firing effect which can be seen here

now i realy liked this effect and since i got inspired by some E3 movies from the old versions of generals i saw a few days ago i tried to remake this effect and i think i did quite well since it looks almost exactly like on the pictures

here are some screens









so what do you think

Looks sweet. Could maybe do with being a bit brighter/thicker (not width, opacity) though.

try changing the pivots of the launchbones, and then the smoketrails, but I think its mainly the launchbones pivots pointing outwards a bit.

your right it is something with the bones but i did not change them they where always like that EA just never implanted this effect in the final version why i don't know :/

I think the smoke looked a lot thicker in the alpha screenshots

yea it does but i'm not realy an expert when it's about particle effects :/

i'm aware of that but the system i tested these new rockets on is a P3 733mhz with 192 mbram and a G-Force card 32mb ddr and it did not effect the gameplay more than normal rocketbuggy effects would do
