Default Modlauncher

Just wanted to ask if anyone here is interested in the modlauncher i use for my mods?

The launcher is simply packed with the mod into a single .exe-file and when you run it it installs the mod, launches the game and uninstalls the mod again upon your exit from the game. This mean that the finished mod is only one file to keep track of and the game keeps original.

Well, if there's any intrest just give me a notice.

Sounds useful, but it may be better not to have to reinstall every game run; instead, store the original INIs, CSF etc. elsewhere, and bring them back when the mod is uninstalled ...

But its certainly better than the methods currently knocking around.

Howcome would you figure it would be better not to reinstall upon launch, how big of a mod are you talking about here?

The launcher however can be set to operate as a normal installer/uninstaller too for the ones that prefer that. It's optional wether you'd like it to auto-uninstall after game-exit.

I found it handy with the auto-(un-)installer since you never really notice the extra loadingtime, it's just like a normal gamestart, but then again i didn't use mods of like 400Megs or so either ofcourse.

Well, I'm thinking for TCs. But having said that, assuming models and texts don't conflict between mods, they can just be left in and only the INIs and CSF files can be replaced ( as its the models and texts that use the most room ).

Really scythe3000, you have GMail?

Well, no need for the e-mail address though because i will put out a link in this thread as soon as the launcher is dowloadable.
