Default .tga texture format question ...

Could someone help me ...

I've just unlocked HoverCraft Transport, I want to add my own icon for it.
I've done everything listed in DeeZire tutorial: The Basics Of Unit Editing - CAMEOS.

I've encountered one problem.
How to save a texture .tga file in Photoshop 7.0 ??

Original .tga files have 1048620k, my saved .tga has only 786476k.
I know: Save your .tga file, and make sure to specify no compression and no alpha. I've got problem with the last option. How to do it ??
Original .tga has transparent background. My .tga has white background.
During the game I can't see icon - only violet square.
Could someone tell me how to save .tga file which has 1048620k ??

And sorry for my English. That is not my native language.
