Default Guard Order

Is there any way to change the radius of the "Guard" order for a unit? Wanted to tweak it for some...

Sadly not. I'd like to change it too, but Guard Radius iz based on each of your units "VisionRange" or "AttackRange", I can't remember which one exactly...

But I've changed both of those, and it doesn't seem to have any affect...

Hmm...that's just plain odd. I really don't know what to tell ya, it worked for me. Try the "Shroudclearingrange" just for the hell of it...

My guinea pig unit at the moment is the Chinese Nuke Cannon. I set the attack range, sight radius, and shroud clearing to 700...but I think there must be a maximum value for shroud-clearing, because they can shoot farther than they can see.

Nevermind, it seems that the game doesn't want to listen when I change sight radius values in the .ini file. Set the Red Guard's shroud-clear to 1400, did nothing.

Anyone else ever have problems with the game not acknowledging what you put in the .ini?

Yes, and it's almost always caused by putting the file in the wrong place.

C&C Folder/Data/INI? I put the Weapon file in the same folder and it used the new ranges just fine...

Object files go in Data/INI/Object. Read my beginners tutorial.
