Some kind of superweapon idea
I recently played the Homeworld games and I got an interesting idea: Why not make the Atmospheric Deprivation Missile from the series. The missile, as far as I have seen, is capable of 'burning' a planet to cinders as seen in the game. Its hard to describe it but it has to do with alot of scorched earth and burning. It would be interesting to make a particle effect of it. WHat do you think?

Would you like your superweapon to be launched by an extra-planetary bombardment platform that can only be destroyed by a Saljuk? Or, just a modified tomahawk storm?

Like a nuke from the chinese, its just a particle idea. Imagine a huge firestorm that consumes all with alot of black, orange, maybe alot of smoke. What do you think the explosion would be like?

Or a flame thrower would be really cool. Has anyone made a flame thrower mod?

"Atmosphere deprivation weapon" is only a term used in order to avoid use of the term "Nuclear Weapon". Creators of Homeworld were wise, careful not to insult anyone, not even by accident. In the mean time, EA insulted people of china, russia and all countries of middle east.
The fact is that in Generals Zero Hour, China Nuke and MOAB have almost the same damage potential. While in the real world, a nuke at that size can destroy an entire Japan or erradicate whole of Britain and Irland.

I hate fps drop, but that could add a little bit of drama. Slow motion
I wouldn't want to upset anyone either, I guess the term was good but hey, thinking on what it would look like would be interesting if I implemented it into generals. Hopefully my TC won't upset anyone...

Dude, it's only a game. I know that a real nuke will blow the whole map and then some 1000 others... but the nuke is kind of like a signature weapon of the C&C series... besides it has some sweet particle effects!
