Default What do you think of that? (FinalBIG INI editing support)

Hi,

What do you think of that? Useful? I manage all possible modules/values inside a special INI file, but it's quite much work to create this INI file, so any help would be appreciated.

Bye,
Matze

Trying to keep that a bit structurized, so I'll just give you an early URL to download:
http://wagnerma.de/finalbigtest.zip

We maybe should try to organize this a bit. The INI file is easy to use, however there's no sense in many people doing the same stuff over and over again. Maybe just say here what you intend to include in the ini , and I will paste the stuff together.

Deezire, is it ok to use your module listing?

Im working on a complete modulelisting, and hopefully be able to uncover all values for every module too, (Deezire's Module Listing as I have found does not list every value for each module).

Yes it does - for Generals, not Zero Hour. The only thing it doesnt list is 'duplicates' where some tags can be used in other modules rather than the default module where it may be required.

Feel free to use the listing Matze.

Thx Deezire.

I've uploaded a new version. It can now list global module instances. Currently it does this for BaseDefenseStructure1 (AIData->SideInfo).

I've done that using a little trick in finalbig.ini: Every time you want FinalBIG to display a list of global module instances, put (for example)
BaseDefenseStructure1 = data\ini\Object\::Object
as value entry in finalbig.ini.

Stuff to do:
1) INI Cache (priority) EDIT: DONE
2) Read INI's of not just the current big, but also original INI.big and directory. EDIT2: Reading current big & original ini.big
3) finish finalbig.ini -> bulk of work, anybody interested in joining? Waraddict already helping here

Edit2: Reorganized value display

Download of current beta : http://wagnerma.de/finalbigtest.zip
