Default Window Help

Can anyone tell me how I can change the color of the progressive bar at the beginning of the game launching up (the little blue one with the bars and such). (I've tried just simply changing the color like any idiot would but it didn't change)

What did you change? The way to do it is to change a part of SCSmShellUserInterface512_001.tga (within data/english/art/textures for the english version) in just the way you said

Well at the bottom of the screen (the screen the game shows when it has the loading bar), I tried changing the text to red instead of blue.
Another thing I wanted to change was the Version of the game (from 1.02 to 1.03, in accordance with the fixes and such suggestion on these forums)

The version information is probably contained within Generals.csf.

Nope I sifted through that thing line by line... not a trace. And I can't find it in my registry either...
