I would argue otherwise on the grounds that its a decade since the original C&C and we don't have Tiberian Twilight to look forward to celebrating that fact, instead we have a sequel to a misguided spinoff of it.
I'd like to see Bill Brown to master Frank's quality of RA music though, fancy a Hell March 3 done by ol'Browny? *shivers*

I didn't get the e-mail, but I'd like to know who to contact for any more info/suggestions about this. I'm trying to collect a small list of much-wanted modding features you see...

Hey guys,
As many of you should know by now, we have officially announced the release of patch 1.03 for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour to be delivered directly this Monday, Feb 28. Though not TBFME related, I know many of you are rabid Command and Conquer fans so I felt it necessary to let you know this news as well. If you are on the official newsletter for C&C, you should have received the announcement by now, if not, then just head over to http://generals.ea.com for some general information. The newsletter certainly goes deeper and the details on the patch will be released when it goes live on Monday.
With that said, I would also like to let you guys know that I will be the Community Manager for the Command and Conquer franchise, supporting that enigmatic and gigantic community strongly as well. While it will be a unique and daunting challenge supporting both TBFME and C&C, you need not fear one bit, as this is why they put me in this role. It is a challenge I can certainly handle and my constant participation in both communities will not affect either one.
The rumor of the patch was in fact true, and if you are an avid Zero Hour fan this patch should certainly put a big smile on your face.
Now, back to Battle for Middle-earth!
All the best,
Aaron

Thing is ImmoMan, is this update is a fan made update, its only being distributed by EA so the chances of some engine updates are slimmer then EA doing the patch themselves which you and I know is close no chance at all.

So in other words, EA is still lazy, they just use someone else's work to make it look like they care. How smart.

Project 0300 hours may not be needed, but EA may have looked into your list of errors and bugs and worked off of that perhaps. Whether you are given credit or not, I still think many of us owe you a big thanks, FC. Even though your experimental INI files are not the final release, I really did like the modifications made.
So, thanks
