They don't realy include "Acetons stuff"

They copied the Aceton-readme and included some balancing changes, but they didnt include all the bugfixes Aceton made. (Aceton also fixed the GLA worker bug through readnaming some bones in the w3d-model).

So dont blame Aceton just cause you dont like the patch, Aceton is still better than this Patch :/

btw, the 1.3 readme dont include all changes made by EA :drunk:

You should read my post again - I didnt blame Aceton, I blamed EA as they have publicly stated that Aceton was the inspiration behind the patch, so your logic defeats itself as you even state that they used Acetons ReadMe file. Nor did I say that I didnt like the patch, I actually said that 'its a welcome move to release it' and 'Im not being ungrateful'.

If you really followed the events between EALA and EA Germany over the last year or so you would know about the continual campaigning to get a 1.03 patch done and this was led by a very large part of the work done by Aceton - so my point is valid, its more than a coincidence that the Aceton work was a significant factor in the development of this patch and its just not good enough to use something like that on a commercial product when its not all that highly developed. The evidence of this is painfully clear, they use Aceton as an 'inspiration' to address the game issues in an official patch and in doing so they fail to recognise or fix some significant problems and also introduce a bunch more.

Aceton IS better than the patch, but Aceton itself does not fix as much as ProGen does nor does it do so as 'properly' or as 'thoroughly' - and ProGen did/fixed a lot more a lot sooner than Aceton ever did, ergo ProGen is more widely tested and more reliable when you consider the fixes alone without the game modifications.
