Default Radically new Commandbar

I'm making a radically new commandbar which means that not only is the bottom part going to be present, but a side one also. I mostly understand commandbar (wnd and INI) modding, but here is my final list of questions that I'm hoping someone can answer. (waraddict, mastermind, DeeZire?)

1) To add a sidebar, what needs to be done. I know that it needs to be done in the controlbar.WND. When I change some values, I get the side bar, but the bottom bar no longer functions. When I add a child window, it doesnt work for some reason. So how do I enable the sidebar so it doesnt conflict with normal bottom commandbar? (TFTW has this)

2) I want to add a STOP button for the commandbar. I want it to always be there even when units are not selected (dark) and when a unit is selected to light up. I know I can do this by commandset buttons. Making slot 14 for example to be the STOP button. But is there any way I can achieve this that doesnt envolve taking up spaces in the 14 commandset buttons?

3) Is it possible to add buttons to the CommandBarScheme.INI. For example,
IdleWorkerButtonEnable SAWorker<<<<< I know where this is!
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
HARDCODED?
Where can I find this?

Hmm, as far as I know I don't think you can get a bottom and side bar working, however...

You might want to try this, expand the buttoncommandxx's parent window across the screen, either of 3 results you can get from this,

1. It will be exactly the same.
2. It will allow buttons in any position to work.
3. It will do 2 but you wont be able to select anything as the window would be in the way.

If you get 1 or 3, return the window back to its old co-ords and try it with the window the next level up, etc.

I was also thinking that. Isn't there an option called "clickable" or something in the specification of each window. Then I can make the whole screen an invisible commandbar, and add my oqn buttons where I please, but still be able to order units around on the battlefield.

Try that, but my suspisions are that the window names have hardcoded values that determine their behaviour.
