hey is this possible?
Could you make only a certain unit not show up on radar? I don't mean stealthed.

Try this line NOT_ON_RADAR , im not sure if it works , but , the civilian units use it as a state, so , maybe it will. Lemme know if it does , or not

Objects like units and structures all have a RadarPriority. Trees for example don't have it set at all. Don't know if it works but could be worth a try.

I think just simply leaving out the radarpriority would make them invisible to the radar... most likely considering the engine does only what you tell it and throws everything else out the window

Thanks.
I got a great coder for my mod, he isn't always online so sometimes I need to check if things are possible.
But now that I think of it, I would want it to show up on radar for you but not the enemy. ???

It's not that easy. Stealthed units just use RadarPriority = UNIT. It is the stealth update that takes care of the stealthing part but that will not show the unit at all to the enemy.

Ahh , ok , my mistake. I will have a look at that. Thing is , i have only been editing Generals (no other games ever except for baldurs gate, and thats a whole new ball game) for about a week or a bit more , still got a bit to learn here. But i will say that i have a feeling i just added on about 10 yrs or more of [playing this game by editing it.
