OK , well , check this out , if you reverse engineer microsofts stuff , and compile it up , how in turn are they going to tell you you reversed their stuff , without reverse engineering your stuff.?
Its a no win situation, without HARD proof.
Not that it applies in this situation , cause i would not call readin and editing some INI files reverse engineering (although the definition still applies) it is not exactly the most complicated code in the world.
I think if EA was concerned about people viewing their source , they would have bought and invested in c++ programmers , not INI scripters.
And on another note , even investing in the better protection means nothing , cause for every coder out there , is some other cracker that just cant help himself from prying into the root of it all.
The morale of this story : simple.
AS LONG AS YOUR NOT MAKING MONEY AND CUTTIN SOMEONES SCHEME (the big boys) they dont care (that much)
