Default AI Scripts

Where can I find the AI script and how is it saved into the game so I can start fiddling?

Here's a short step-by-step guide:

1. Go to your Gen/ZH folder, and go to Data/Scripts.
2. Make a backup copy of SkirmishScripts.scb and MultiplayerScripts.scb.
3. Open World Builder.
4. Go to Edit -> Edit Player List.
5. Click 'Add Skirmish Players', then click OK.
6. Go to Edit -> Scripts.
7. Uncheck 'Auto Verify', then click 'Import Scripts'.
8. Select Data/Scripts/SkirmishScripts.scb as the file to open.
9. Do your editing.
10. When done, click 'Export Scripts'.
11. Select all the checkboxes, then choose the 'Export All Scripts' option.
12. Click the (hardly visible) OK button, and select the file to save as.
13. Done.

The AIDATA.INI file is the computers reference file to tell it if it has X amount of cash, it is poor or wealthy. Not only that, it tells the computer the layout of its base in coordinates (these can be made in WB).

SDI dead though. They still have the tutorials but nothing new is being put up since Mithril left the modding community.

I don't mean to be a nit pick (or anything else that is negative) but after you click add skirmish players button you have to then remove the civilian player faction then click add skirmish players again - for some reason I think the developers were trying to be sneaky at hiding the scripts from us MODders or something... because I can't think of any other reason why they would do that... also you have to edit the Teams which are also imported with the scripts and last but not least make sure you have the export all scripts box checked because if you don't it won't export the teams (which tells the game what units to build) Last but not least if you added new units with new names (like we'll all do/done) then you'll have to add them to the teams as well... one last note then I'm done - the teams editing feature works as well as a pig on water, if you try to organize the teams (ie- put them in alphabetical order) the move team up/down sometimes will ignore YOU, so what you have to do is click it once then hold down the enter key and wait... sometime a long time... or until you get bored and start whatching the TV then it sneaks up on you and poof the team is at the bottom of the list instead of just one notch lower!!
