Default Need a mod team

Ok, im sure iv pitched this befor but i had not done any base work so you guys just brushed me off.

The New Regime Mod

The basic idea is to add a whole new team that takes the best units from British history present and forseeable future to creat a force interested in taking advantage of the existing 3 way war to re-instate the British empire (cos empires are cool).

Here is a worldbuilder screen of what iv got so far, iv also got some code but im 98.5% sure its flawed.

Vehicles
Chalanger/Chalanger MKII (via Generals promotion)
Artillary (shell launching fast weak)
Troop Carrier (lorry with a canapy over the back)

Infantry
Spy (Sean Conneryesq infiltration unit)
Sniper
Hero (El Presidente)

Buildings
Pill Box
Turret
Solar power

Air
Anglo Fighter (euro fighter but british)
Spitfire

Really? I though that the British were still reeling from the unintended consequences of their last Empire (ie, the United States). :lol:

On a more serious note, it seems that adding Great Britain is a painfully generic and common theme for Generals mods. I'll bet there's a mod out there somewhere with the same goal as yours.

Thats right GREAT Britain.

And iv seen other mods that at Great Britain as a side but i didnt make those mods which means i cant have my say in their content and it would be 'unethical' to steal all their hard work and use it in my mod also most mods that do add us add about 6 other counrtys and wont be compleated till RA3 is out.

but if you want to take all units from the british history, you must include longbowmen,trebuchets etc, including the guys in Braveheart whats their name again? And dont forget to include the monkey men (our great-great 1000x grandparents).But for balance purposes please give their clubs the kill pilot damage,please?

yea thats a great idea... not the club guys.. they wouldnt do well against bullets but longbowmen that could out distance, out power but have saverly lower life than other normal infantry.

wow...unexpected response...but longbows can't possibly outperform modern firearms (if you know what I mean). So how about making them like snipers instead?

they can because modern armour is made to stop bullets not arrows and im sure if you were shot by a bullet and an arrow you could concure they are both very painfull. the problem being that arrows take ager to fire 1 shot where as guns fire a few bullets every second.

Yeah so its impossible to make them the grunts of your army (like rebels, red guards). Anyway, are you planning to put in the desert commandos like the one in WWII?
