Can anyone tell me how would you make a airplane on GENERALS be able to jamm missiles and send them flying like the ECM TANK on ZERO HOUR?

I am thinking about making an EA-6C Prowler or EF-111 Raven that cruises very slow over the enemies base and jamms enemy missiles.



Oh... also one more question...how would I; if I could, make an afterburner shoot out of the back of my newly designed ROCKET buggy when it goes to attack or goes at a certain speed?

As far as I know it's impossible since GENERALS doesn't have the needed parameters to make the ECM ability work. I am sure thou, that you can try to make something that works similar.

Wait, do you want it to jam EVERY missile? Or a PERCENT of missiles fired at it? Cause it is possible to deflect EVERY missile, you would just need some FX where missiles go flying away cupled with a weapon that blocks all missiles.

but where would i start as far as the fx are concerned?
fire fx? weapon fx? and how would they be listed?

Well, I don't know if you have ZH or not, but here's the code for the ECM Tank Missile Jam weapon.

Weapon ECMTankMissileJammer
PrimaryDamage = 100.0
PrimaryDamageRadius = 150.0
AttackRange = 15.0
MinimumAttackRange = 10.0
DamageType = SUBDUAL_MISSILE
DeathType = NORMAL
WeaponSpeed = 600 ; dist/sec
RadiusDamageAffects = ENEMIES NEUTRALS
DelayBetweenShots = 650 ; time between shots, msec
FireFX = FX_ECMTankMissileJammerPulse
End

Go from that, just make your weapon fire always and make sure to have SUBDUAL_MISSILE.

yea i have it...



but the problem is with the SUBDUAL_MISSILE part; how do I get that on Generals also? I dont think they have a damage fx called "SUBDUAL_MISSILE" on generals

you cant, no game engine code in generals supports that, only in ZH

well, make a weapon, that targets Kind of MISSILE, so basically take the point defense of the padlin, give it to ur plane, specifiny a bone, and make the beam invisible....also increase the weapon speed of the weapon so its very fast.....and you need to add a death affect to the missles, so the dont fly off like being lasered.
