Default Vehicles & Infantry size

Hi there! Just want to ask any of you about editing the infantry and vehicles 'size'. I mean, how can I make the infantry a bit smaller so they could match with the same scale of the vehicles? And I want to make the Raptor, Comanche, Aurora, Stealth Fighter, and Chinook a bit larger? Hope any of you can help me, thanks!

How? I'm sorry for the trouble but I really don't have much knowledge on modifying stuffs, just starting when I got into Generals. So how can I resize the model?

1. Download RenX
2. Get the .W3D importer
3. Import models that want to be resized
4. Export save in Generals dir

I'm pretty certain that you can do that through ini editing too, as well as the way oldfaq mentioned, and it's simpler. At the end of every object's coding in the files of the /object folder there is a line mentioning scale, which im pretty sure can increase or decrease the size of the model without needing to do it in gmax and creating new w3d files.

Just a far easier way of doing it IMO.

Heh, IMO, you'd need to increase the building size a lot....kinda funny watching 30 tanks coming out of a building that can hold maybe 4....

Hey TylerD. I did what you suggested with regards to doing it through .ini editing, but I'm afraid it's not as easy as I thought. You see, I'm not sure if you're familiar with this mod, I downloaded this NEW TECH MOD 'Release 2.1', and I really liked the way the infantry units and civilians were scaled. I still like the original scale of the structures, but I only want to change the infantry and civilians a bit smaller, make some scale changes in some vehicles and structures. If it's no trouble, could you give me a detailed explanation on how to make these configurations, and every .ini file that I need to attend to and where to find them. Believe me, I did everything I could but I'm just not good enough. Could you email me?

Sorry for being such a nuisance, thanks a bunch!

In the last section of the model, where the pickbox geometry is, add:

Scale = 1.0

Adjust the 1.0 up or down to scale the model.
