Default Command Center icons

Hey all, i need to know how to make new command center icons for my new generals, i.e, the Air force gen has a plane on his CC, and for my Tomahawk General i want a Tomahawk on his CC. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I think you asking how to make cameos:

Cameo code goes in Data\INI\MappedImages\ and is generally of the form:

MappedImage MyCameo
Texture = MyCameo.tga
TextureWidth = xxx
TextureHeight = xxx
Coords = Left:xxx Top:xxx Right:xxx Bottom:xxx
Status = NONE
End

The cameos go in Art\Textures and are tga format.

No, I believe he means the icon that appears on the Command Center itself right where the dozers are built. I believe you would have to make a tomahawk image, then add a flat plane on to the W3D model there that was named "Housecolor--", with -- being a two-digit number. The texture should be applied to that plane with the "Shader" being "Add" instead of "Opaque". If you can add an Alpha channel to the image instead, then it would be better to use "Alpha Blend" in the "Shader" category.

thanks Airstriker, is there any tuts on how to do this?? or if you have MSN maybe able to walk me through it prehaps?? if not then can you tell me on how to make the images for the CC, sorry about so many question but im a noob when it comes to skinning.

Try looking at the tutorials here (<look at sidebar) for some UV stuff. i don't have MSN though, and I've been there with skinning. I still remember not being able to get a texture to fit right on a tank. Wait. That's still happening...
