Ok I wanna try to add a vehicle for the Chinese that would fire a large missle, like the cruise missle, only instead of doing damage it would lay a small minefield. How would I go about doing this? I've never really tried to mod before so a good step by step(maybe) guide would be good. So a little help please.

Try to experiment on the codes for the clustermine (seeing as that bomb spawns a minefield, you should be able to create a missile that has a DeathBehaviour of spwaning clustermines) and the codes on Scud missiles (seeing as that code holds some info regarding creation of objects upon detonation).

Can't help you much more than that though.

It might be possible to use the heightdie and createobject modules to make it explode over the target and create mines.

Find out what the mines are, I know what they are, but I can't remember where I found out, might be gamedata.ini

then make a new entry in objectcreationlist.ini and edit it to your needs, now finally add that OCL entry to your weapon.

Voila!...

Well might one of you point in the direction of where I should start out... This will be the first mod I've done, if I figure out how to. So any and all bits of info would be much appreciated.

you should try something else, this stuff is waay too complicated if you havent modded before...

Try making the unit work first, work on this weapon later
