Ok, I hate that fucking button, so that will be good. So how would I do this, without it bringing the whole controlbar down?

Well to do my method, all you need to do is open ControlBarResizer.ini, and set all the AltPositions and AltSizes to exactly the same figure as normal (i.e. It would then not move or shrink)

Alphathon, I will try yours first, since it is INI related & I am best at INI, where do I find these values? What where they are & what size?
EDIT: I will also post a screenshot when I have one.

Make your sidebar cover the dark part if there is such after you do the 1st step.

the mods I've seen use the damn black line at the bottom for their tooltip strings, cameos or something like that. And as far as I know that is not a wnd problem, not a ini problem but hardcoded in the game engine.
and there seems to be no way to set this black rectangle to alpha (hide).
I've never heard, that someone got rid of that problem that had broken lots of coder's heads...

All you need to do is open your .wnd file in wordpad or something, and find the coords tht each of the objects uses usually, then put them in as the AltPositions (the coords you use will be the top-left ones), then for the AltSizes, work out what the normal size of it would be by subtracting the left coord from right for the X value, and bottom from top for the Y. This may be tedious, but it gets the job done
