Default The First Tiberian War to go TC!

As Skulking Ferrit (Our old mod leader) has moved on the position of Mod Leader has now been given to me, Waraddict.

The First Tiberian War is now to be completely given a 'face lift' and become a full fledged Total Conversion, nothing of Generals/ZH is to be left, no Generals Civilian Buildings, no Generals Textures, nothing. The idea is to make the engine unrecognisable and thus let the mod stand on its own.

Of course all of us now know that the SAGE engine is beginning to go out of date, but I promise you that if everything goes to plan a full TC version of TFTW will be released much before SAGE truly 'kicks the bucket', TFTW in essence is practically finished and only polishing.

The Polishing however involves a ton of small changes, and this unfortunately needs quite a few people, as ferrit was also our modeler (and still is to a decent degree) we need some new modelers to take care of C&C props.

We also need good texture artists for the terrain and roads.

The good news about this potential team I want to make is that the assets will also be useful for our neighbouring Chrono Device mod(Zero Hour to Red Alert mod).

All the new assets we need made are free to a certain degree of 'artistic freedom', they need to be similar to their C&C counterparts but a bit improvisation will be needed for high detailed versions.

Terrain textures for instance will not simply include temperate and desert but a little variance too such as snow, burnt grass, cracked desert....

Also, I don't plan on letting TFTW dying, when SAGE gets old enough we will transfer and any team members will be garaunteed to stay with us, I am even considering our own made 3D engine.

Lastly, outside the prop and civilian building modeling area we are in desperate need of a decent infantry modeler.

If anyone is interested please PM me.

oh man... very very very much things to do. I hope you won't give up the project during the development.
I'd help if I had no other project running, but I have...

I might be able to do some modeling, if you don't mind my project using the same stuff, cause I am also doing new civ. buildings and terrain. PM me.
