Hm, that TinyPic site seems to be a good idea. I need to post some screens up myself. Thanks for the site. SoldierofLight, this is looking very good,

I'd like to see some screens if you can get some working.

Notice that most of my changes thus far has been pure coding so I don't have much to visually show you all but here you go.

I have also finished the Lazr_General Laser Cannon. I was putting too much effort into it. It was way easier than I thought. I was trying to program new buttons and the works over this week. All it took was a new beam. EASY!!!

The story is sketchy, but here goes...

It's been 11 years and 3 months after the Zero Hour conflict. America has recovered from the beating they received from the GLA, and China has once again, began to fall in power. The GLA has not been heard from since ZH. In desparation China has formed alliances with Russia and other Communist nations. USA satelites have spotted Russian tanks in Chines bases. Recently they have been seen moving towards the European nations. Already, Britian and France have supported a new war effort with the USA in case Asia attacks...

[NEXT UPDATE POST DUE: 10/24/05]

Note: There will be little post between now and then. These updates will be just to show more screenshots and fine tune the story. I wil also give more change lists.

Note2: There is a possiblity that GoldEagle will be helping me with this mod. However this would mean his Yuri's Revenge Mod would be put to rest for a while. I will post a poll in the General Discussions forum for you to say wether or not you want that to happen. I expect GoldEagle to inform those interested in his mod in RA2/YR forum of this poll. It will be open until [10/20/05].

Thanks for any comments you might have.

Things should speed up now.

Ok, I have issues...

I downloaded a model from reneclips. It doesn't have a damage skin so I made one for it. The problem is that it won't apply it. Is there coding in the model telling it what skins to accept? I even tried copying the file, renaming it, and renaming my new skin the same as it. It still used the other skin! So right now I have a plane with no valid damage state.

How can I fix this problem? I looked through gmax and all I kept getting was stuff about 3d trees. Is there anyway I can fix this without having to use a 3d modeling program?

If I do, then how exactly do I use it? Is there another downloadable 3d modeling program out there?

Please help!!!

I've already ran into a problem.I'm making a laser ranger for the laser general. The weapon works fine execept it fires from his feet, not his gun. Can someone help fix this? I've tried everything, and nothing works.

have to define a bone in the weapon code, look at the laser crusader gun
