Default faction-specific tech buildings

Hi, is it possible for a tech building to have different models that show according to the faction of its current owner? thx

You might be able to do it by having three W3DScienceModelDraw modules, each one corresponding to a model seen by a particular side. Look for the salvage crate in Crate.ini for an example of how it is used.

i tried this when i first began, and couldn't figure it out, but i'll take a look and see if it can be done. what Commie said is the first thing i can think of.

But it's supposed to be seen the same way by ALL sides in the map...either i don't get your meaning right or it's the other way around, but please clarify. Heres an example of what I want to do if you don't get my question: I want a (neutral) tech building that's capturable and when it's captured by a USA player I want it to show the US flag, the Chinese flag when captured by a chinese player, etc etc

Yes, that is possible. Use regular W3DModelDraw on the main structure, and W3DScienceModelDraw on the flag. Should work fine.
