Nice reallife smoke effects i tottaly like it in generals i whas busy with it to because HL2 and Quake 4 uses it to it optimizing the whole game engine

well you can use any image editor as long as your can save as tgas. A plus is if you can use alpha channels for the tgas so that you don't have to make additive particles only.

nices effects there Ambershee. How'd you get a space background there... just change/add terrain stuff? (hmm... maybe I'm getting off topic lol).

Well, Hostile used normal terrain textures, but I decided they weren't suitable for ZH modding, especially not for the scale of some of the decals I wanted. I tweaked worldbuilder slightly to remove a few file limitations, and used the same technique that's used for drawing roads with very large, semi transparent decal objects, all over a very basic starfield terrain texture. The nebulae are based on water type fields
