yeh, the problem is that I dont want to upgrade all exisiting bikes (or a subset of existing bikes), I want those to remain the same, and have all future bikes constructed with the new payload.


So unless I might be able to change the ocl to begin with x if "upgrade to have x rider" is purchased.

Im at work right now, so Im not actually looking at the files, but the true requirement I have is to only upgrade future constructs of the bike.

Why don't you change the command set of the Arms Dealer then? It's easy and straight forward, add another button and you're done. You might also want to switch some upgrades, like the scorpion rocket, to the another building, to get more room for buttons or you might want the upgrade to be triggered by another building. I'm afraid there's no other way to do this.

annoying, the main reason I didnt want to upgrade the commandset, was in case I had multiple things of a similar nature I wanted to do that were not mutually exclusive.

For example, what if you had an upgrade to change the combat cycle into a demo cycle, and an upgrade to make the battlebus come with 2 rocket men? you couldnt check which were purchased or if both were, so you couldnt upgrade the commandset accurately, I guess ill take a few more looks at odds and sods and see if I can hack a way around it, if not I might add another building.

Thanks a lot for all the help, shame it seems to be impossible, ill let you know if I do find a way but I doubt I will, I might also ask a question about a general ability im trying to add if you dont mind, I tried folowing a tutorial from "Slee" but I couldnt quite get it to do exactly what I wanted .
