Default Geometry Definitions...

Hey, how would i make it so that i cant define the geometry of a rectangular area? See, i have an airfield, and it keeps ringing it as a square....plus also, how am i to define length or width, when all they give me is this:

Geometry = BOX
GeometryMajorRadius = 112.0
GeometryMinorRadius = 74.0
GeometryHeight = 25.0
GeometryIsSmall = No
FactoryExitWidth = 25
Shadow = SHADOW_VOLUME
BuildCompletion = PLACED_BY_PLAYER

Just a guess, Length and width is using Major/Minor Radius, you'll have to play around with them.

FactoryExitWidth and below don't effect the bounding box geometry.

well... yea i kinda figured about the factory thingy...but it just makes me mad that i cant edit it in a more clear way...why not just say length/width instead they put all this confusing major minor stuff...that can mean anything...

Well you see, what Major and Minor define depends on the shape, clearly they were too lazy to have different attributes for each shape.

in the same way... there's no other solution

you only need the half lenght and width values to type in, logically; it's the radius, not the diameter

You might be able to shape the geometry of an irregular structure by using sub-objects
