AWM Neko Unit List w/ Descripions
Dear Aki War Mod Supporters,
Here is half the list of Nekoketsukei Units. It isn't totally complete, and I am going to modify some descriptions, costs, and names, as well as upgrades & prerequisites, but here is the list I am going by. This will also be in the game guide when my mod's V0.35 is released. I will post the other half tommorow to throw in some suspense. It is a little sloppy, but I copied it out of a Open Office Document, deal with it :P
Sorry I havent added any pictures, but it is a pain in the ass to do for my mod, because the commandbar needs to be configured so it hides when I take a screenshot. So I will do it when I have 25 units/buildings done, I have... 16 done.
Well, here is the list, it contains all of the infantry I could think of at the time, and half of the vehicles list.
Units
Infantry
White Ashigaru
Class: Melee Infantry
Cost: ¥50
Rank Required: Lieutenant
Prerequisite: Barracks
Upgrades: Tabuk Armor Plates, Steroids, Nightvision Goggles.
Only available to the Katana Loyalists, use this as a backup for when funding is tight at the beginning. The White Ashigaru is equipt with a spear, and is an instant kill for infantry. They work well when mixed in with other infantry at the beginning of the game.
White Guard
Class: Infantry
Cost: ¥100
Rank Required: Lieutenant
Prerequisite: Barracks
Upgrades: Tabuk Armor Plates, Steroids, Hollowpoint Bullets, Nightvision Goggles.
The best seen infantry in the average firefight, the White Guard are armed with a semi-automatic rifle, good to sustain accuracy, and keep a decent rate of fire.
Tokyo Rocket Infantry
Class: Anti-Tank Soldier
Cost: ¥130
Rank Required: Major
Prerequisite: Barracks
Upgrades: Tabuk Armor Plates, Steroids, Nightvision Goggles.
The basic missile system of the Nekoketsukei, it can do some damage to an uncaring tank, or high amounts of damage to light vehicles.
Match'ene Gunner
Class: Firefight Support
Cost: ¥275
Rank Required: Captain
Prerequisite: Barracks, *Infantry Warfare*
Upgrades: Tabuk Armor Plates, Steroids, Hollowpoint Bullets, Nightvision Goggles.
The Match'ene gun is a weapon originally from the Skorpshjuze known as the Mat'chene, it has been also adopted & modified by the Nekoketsukei Imperial Army. It is good for support in a large battle, but must first deploy his machine gun.
Sniper
Class: Long Range Infantry Support
Cost: ¥300
Rank Required: Captain
Prerequisite: Barracks
Upgrades: Tabuk Armor Plates, Steroids, Hollowpoint Bullets, Nightvision Goggles, Advanced Marksmanship.
A high marksman of the NIA, the Sniper can eliminate still infantry, moving targets may be harder to hit though.
Grenaider
Class: Battlefield Fragmentation
Cost: ¥230
Rank Required: Lieutenant
Prerequisite: Barracks
Upgrades: Tabuk Armor Plates, Steroids, Grenaider Loadout, Nightvision Goggles.
The Grenaider is armed with basic fragmentation grenades. He can throw them far, and can be decent support with range between a White Guard & a Match'ene Gunner. His power becomes supreme when you upgrade him to carry fusion, smoke, and electro magnetic pulse grenades, in replace of his normal arsenal.
Kyoto Rocket Infantry
Class: Anti-Aircraft Rocket Infantry
Cost: ¥150
Rank Required: Colonel
Prerequisite: Barracks
Upgrades: Tabuk Armor Plates, Steroids, Nightvision Goggles.
The Tokyo Rocket may pack a large punch, but isn't heat seeking. The Kyoto Rocket can strike aircraft out of the skies with two to three hits. The weapon can only fired if locked on, so tanks are bad news for this soldier.
Fusion Sprayer
Class: Close Range Fusion Infantry
Cost: ¥350
Rank Required: Major
Prerequisite: Barracks
Upgrades: Tabuk Armor Plates, Steroids, Nightvision Goggles.
The Fusion Sprayer is a soldier equipt with a bio-fusion sprayer. He is effective versus infantry, and armor to an extent. He has to be closer than most infantry to hit though.
Sapper
Class: Battlefield Support & Enginnering
Cost: ¥260
Rank Required: Major
Prerequisite: Barracks
Upgrades: Tabuk Armor Plates, Steroids, Nightvision Goggles.
The Sapper can set up many things on the battlefield, and that includes: Barb Wire, Supply Crate, Fusion Mines, Claymores, and Radar Tower. He is armed with a shotgun, in case of a group of Sappers being attacked.
White Lightning–Commando
Class: Nekoketsukei Spetnaz
Cost: ¥1000
Rank Required: Colonel
Prerequisite: White Lightning Barracks
Upgrades: Tabuk Armor Plates, Steroids, Nightvision Goggles.
The second best elite infantry, just under the capabilities of the Scorpion Clan's Black Star. The Commando is the most common White Lightning. He is armed with a sub-machine gun, innacurate but deadly. He is also the most equipped to deal with urban areas, something White Lightning don't favor. He can swim, place fusion C4, build a tunnel, use a silenced pistol, booby trap civilian buildings, and clear out civilian buildings with tear gas.
White Lightning–Sniper
Class: Nekoketsukei Spetnaz
Cost: ¥950
Rank Required: Colonel
Prerequisite: White Lightning Barracks
Upgrades: Tabuk Armor Plates, Steroids, Nightvision Goggles, Advanced Marksmanship.
The second best elite infantry, just under the capabilities of the Scorpion Clan's Black Star. The Sniper provides long range support for a White Lightning squad, as well as covers a retreat. He is armed with a semi-automatic sniper rifle, making him shoot faster. He is also very accurate. The only disadvantage from the normal sniper is his range is a bit smaller. He can swim, build a tunnel, place claymore mines, and shoot tank and helicopter pilots.
White Lightning–Sapper
Class: Nekoketsukei Spetnaz
Cost: ¥975
Rank Required: Colonel
Prerequisite: White Lightning Barracks
Upgrades: Tabuk Armor Plates, Steroids, Nightvision Goggles.
The second best elite infantry, just under the capabilities of the Scorpion Clan's Black Star. The Sapper is the engineer of the group. He is armed with a shotgun, used only for a last resort. He can swim, build a tunnel, place fusion mines, and build a White Lightning Nekosaba-Maru vehicle.
Vehicular
Sensha
Class: Main Battle Tank
Cost: ¥950
Rank Required: Major
Prerequisite: Arms Factory
Upgrades: Sensha I --> Sensha II
The Sensha is the Nekoketsukei basic tank, armed with the weakest armor piercing gun of the Aki tanks. It is only worthy in decent numbers. The Sensha II increases accuracy , damage, and armor, making it the exact equivelant of the Deyukkuketsukei Uol fully upgraded. Unavailable to the Katana Loyalists.
Sensha-X
Class: Main Battle Tank
Cost: ¥950
Rank Required: Major
Prerequisite: Arms Factory
Upgrades: None
The Sensha X is the effect of lowered resources of tank round & armor ingredients, but surplus of stealth technology. The Sensha X may have lower armor & damage than the Sensha I/Sensha II tanks, but it makes up for it in speed & stealth.
XT-92 "Persian"
Class: Light Tank/APC
Cost: ¥825
Rank Required: Major
Prerequisite: Arms Factory
Upgrades: XT-92 Rockets
The XT-92 is one of the oldest vehicles. It has however seen combat in many wars, and is shipped to many countries to the world, which remains its fimiliarity & purpose over any battle waged on the Aki Continent. It's speed & weaponry make it a very good vehicle, and can carry three infantry inside of it. It shouldn't be left alone against tanks unless at least upgraded with rockets.
Kiba-Maru
Class: Rural Transport
Cost: ¥780
Rank Required: Captain
Prerequisite: Arms Factory
Upgrades: None
The Kiba-Maru is a fast vehicle meant to get infantry from one place to the other. It's low armor against rockets make it very unfavorable in cities, but great in rural plains due to it's speed & defensive machine gun. Can hold two infantry.
Nekosaba-Maru APC
Class: Urban Transport
Cost: ¥1300
Rank Required: Major
Prerequisite: Arms Factory
Upgrades: None
The Nekosaba-Maru is a great urban assault vehicle, armed with a flak shell cannon, and tear gas, it can shelter infantry against gunfire & even rockets while it fires back at infantry in civilian buildings. It can shoot at aircraft, ten infantry inside it can shoot out of it, and it is an amphibious transport. It should be noted it has poor armor against tank shells, so best stay away from armored tanks.
Nekosaba-Maru Support
Class: Medical & Engeneering Supplies
Cost: ¥1300
Rank Required: Captain
Prerequisite: Arms Factory
Upgrades: None
The Nekosaba-Maru Support houses many medical supplies to heal infantry, and parts to repair vehicles. Just simply put infantry near it to regain their health, and put it near a vehicle to repair a immobilized vehicle. It should be known that the Nekosaba-Maru support version CAN go into water, to repair naval ships or immobilized amphibious vehicles.
Unnamed Unit
Class: Anti-Aircraft Vehicle
Cost: ¥1200
Rank Required: Major
Prerequisite: Arms Factory
Upgrades: None
The ___________ can take down enemy helicopters, VTOL, jet aircraft, and spacecraft. It is armed with four match'ene guns filled with flak, as well as two sets of six Kyoto rockets. It may be the best anti air vehicle, but armor means it cannot be hit by much before it is destroyed.
