Default Adding New Units ... help

ok ... so about a week or two ago i started playing around with modding Zero Hour ..

started small like changing units health and range ...
moved on to adding new abilites
then new promotions and special effects ...

ok now i want to add new units .. .. now no duh you can copy the america humvee to china .. .. but thats not what i mean .. how do you "import" new units i think up haha

buildings .. dont seem to give me problems .. except button images ..

any tutorials about importing units ?? thanks

Are you talking about importing graphics for a new unit or importing code for units from another mod?

hmmm i guess either ... i was thinking graphics for a new unit or maybe a new addition to the overlord tank to be more specific ... haha how do you do both ?

oooook heres my problem .. i got everything showing up in the game.. but my ?? button icons show up as different buildings ??
am i doing something wrong
i open adobe ... in photoshop i open the image i want .. crop it to 71 by 71 pixels .. save as ... name.tga ... then i put it in the textures folder ... and in my commandbutton i put name.tga for buttonimage .. ???? any suggestions ?

I was stumped at first with this one, its much liek adding new music to the game but insteasd you have to edit the skirmishscripts will i still havent figured out lol
