Default Silence is a Virtue?

Ok guys I added my new music to the \Data\Audio\Tracks folder and edited the

MusicTrack Game_USA_01
Filename = Grinder.mp3
End

And I have also edited the SkirmishScripts file (and exported it) to adjust the length of the new track but Im still getting silence in the game as if its ignoring that first track as it is infact playing the rest.
Any ideas what im doing wrong?

Thanks in advance

It needs to be 22Khz Stereo with no compression, if I'm not mistaken.

but it's a saving error. try out which kHz you need. I had the same problem a while ago but i dunno exactly how to solve it.

I think that's for regular sounds, which are optimal at 22Khz mono (stereo doesn't work, IIRC). Music should be .mp3, bitrate and sample rate shouldn't matter (variable bitrates work as well).

Try re-compressing the .mp3.

Any mp3 format is supported, as is any WAV format. The sampling rate doesn't matter, nor does the bitrate.

check the music soundtrack in the bigfiles and use the same names generals uses,your music should overide them.
worse comes to worse replace them directly in the .big files.
