Default Lights

Hello

I have made a model, and id like to have some light effects on them. I wanted to use the Runway lights like those on the Airfields and Supply Drop zone.

I figured out how to do it (i think)

I need to use the Dazzle thing on the W3D Tools in Renx right? problem is, the list only shows Renegade stuff (and if i try to use one of em, the game Crashes)

So what are the Generals Dazzle Effects?

Thanks in advance!

My idea would be to open said .w3d in a hex editor and find where exactly it does the "dazzle" stuff, and then to find out an existing name for the "dazzle", and manually edit that in. Clunky, but it works.

If you look at the US dropzone, you will see 4 bones called RUNWAYLIGHTS I would assume that you could orient some bones on you model and use them to declare where a certain effect was going to take place.

Just like when you declare the MUZZLE bone on weapons for the flash effect.

Just look through the FX list and find some you want to try the code the results to test them.

Once you name them, you still have to tell them what to do in the ini file.

Look at where the fx is called in the model section of each building.
