the maximum limit is 15 characters (not including the .w3d), i don't know if there is a minamum, try making the name longer

2 things:

1: I want you to post a screenshot with your final big open...because i wanna know did you do it like this:

C:/Documents and Settings/Joshua/Desktop/Art/W3D/F23.w3d

or like this

Art/W3D/F23.w3d

2: Are you sure you exported the plane's geometry? Check the w3d tools section to make sure you exported the geometry.

Hah, Smokey makes a good point, you sure the models are in the big right, and are you sure its exported right.

Ive always been told its 13, never tried above 13 though, so dunno.

Well, I dont know, maybe if you name your stuff really bad like USACOMMANDCENTER then you will use up characters like nothing, so remember, DONT DO NAMES LIKE THAT, UCOMCENTER is much better.

yea...use their abrieviations ... AB+ name = American Building
AV+ name = American Vehicle

example: AVLeopard.w3d = the Crusader Tank
